Hello Blogland!
Welcome to all my New Followers. It is such an honor to have you here.
Today I want to share a Father's Day Tag I created.
It is a little on the girly side....haha.
My printer is out of ink so I could not print any manly images.
I was stuck looking through my very limited stash of supplies and came across the little chipboard tag of a man and woman.
(I like to think of it as Father and Daughter...big stretch I know!!)
I used a light blue textured paper, then added a journal card from the Prima "Nature Garden" Collection.
I glued the man and woman in the middle.
The words "For The Best Dad Ever", I wrote myself with black ink and used Distress inks in blue and ivory on a strip of scrap paper I had lying around.
I used patterned scissors to cut out the words.
I then used a burlap trim on the top and bottom in an attempt
to stay away from too many frills!!!
I had a few metal trinkets, the word "Explore", and a Compass to help embellish along with a flower and bow in matching colors.
I found a little bird sticker and used it at the top of the tag.
I hope you like my "Girly" Father's Day Card.
Thank you all so much for dropping by!
Until Next Time, Happy Sales
How cool.. I love the idea of a tag for fathers day.
ReplyDeleteHi Tracie
ReplyDeleteHow are you going? Love this beautiful Father's Day tag. I immediately thought it was an image representing you and your dear Dad!
Lovely to have you visit again and leave such a nice comment.
We still haven't yet worked out an exchange but there's heaps of time if you would still like to.
Hugs,
Suzy
That tag would look great on a father's day gift. It would add just the perfect touch. Great work as usual.
