The 12 Tags of Christmas #2

Happy Monday my friends.
Hope your weekend was fun and relaxing.
I spent most of mine working on a project for my graphic design class.
Hopefully it will be ready by the due date.

I am embarrassed to show you guys my second tag.
After seeing what everyone else is submitting mine is just pitiful.

Anyway, here is Linda's wonderful inspiration tag from The Funkie Junkie
For my tag, I went with a different color pallet but used the reindeer for my focal.
As you can see, it is nothing fancy and I almost didn't post it!!
I am still 3 weeks behind and hopefully my next tag will be better.

Welcome my friends, old and new! I am honored to have you drop by.
We have had rain all day today.....yuck!
On the bright side, I didn't have class, therefore I didn't have to walk a half mile in the pouring rain....lol
I have joined in the newest Lunagirl Blog Challenge, Lady Blue.
I really had a lot of fun with this one.
I went digital again. I am still learning how to add this and cut that.
I even found "Blue Roses"!! Talk about amazing!

I also want to mention a little blog challenge, "Bellydancers", going on over at "Lunagirl Mooonbeams"

Tag Tuesday - Weddings

Greetings my wonderful bloggy friends! Thank you so much for dropping by.
I would also like to welcome all my new followers.

This week over at "Tag Tuesay" our theme is "Weddings".
I had the hardest time trying to get my head around this one.

It should have been very simple with so many variations to choose from.

I finally decided to use paper from the
"Romance Novel" Collection.
I added a cute little vintage girl and made a Wedding Veil out of TuTu material.
I glued the material to the top of her head and wrapped around .

I used a metal filigree corner and folded the edges back to make her
"Tiara". I then added a small pink resin rose.

For the "Bouquet" I used various ribbons, pearl trim, sheer petals from another flower, and a pretty rose to match.
I think the tag is a little more Vintage and Shabby than what I had originally planned and I am not very  happy with the way it turned out.
"Oh Well"....maybe next week will be better!!!
Thank you ALL again for taking the time to stop by. I appreciate each and everyone of you.

Tag Tuesday - Fish

Welcome all my fellow bloggers! Hope your week is getting to a great start!

This week over at "Tag Tuesday" our theme is Fish.
I had no clue what to create.
I mean, I enjoy eating it....lol.
Though I suppose a picture of me eating fish was not quite what they had in mind.

So instead I went with this
I tried to create an underwater feel. I know the flowers are not what you would typically see, but I didn't have any seaweed.
I used Distress Ink (Blue Jeans), Dylusions Campso Teal Ink Spray, and Metallic Honeydew ink by Encore to create my "Ocean Like" background.

The flowers are from Jolee's and I used the distress ink and metallic ink to help blend the color to match the background.
They were a bright yellow to begin with.

The silver fish charms, starfish, and shell are from my own stash along with the ribbons and trims.

I am also entering this Tag into the
"Frilly and Funky Summertime Challenge"

Thank you for dropping by!!

Mind Wide Open April FREEDOM Challenge

A huge Welcome to my new followers, and many Thanks to my faithful friends and followers.
I am grateful for each and every one of you!!

This month over at the "Mind Wide Open" Challenge Blog, Gail gave us this pretty background to use along with the sentiment/word prompt "Freedom"
I chose to do another Digital Collage.
(I have so enjoyed Gail's challenges as it gives me a chance to play around in the digital world.)

So here is what I came up with. I hope you like it!
The entire collage was created using "piZap"
The two birds were part of free desktop wallpaper I found on Google.

The Bird Pocket Watch is a Free Graphic from the Blog "Sweetly Scrapped"

The butterflies, flowers, and sparkles are all from the featured embellishments you can find on "piZap".

I then found a font I thought was half way decent and added a blue frame.

My Partner in Crime for the Bead Soup Blog Party #7

I am participating in the 7th Bead Soup Blog Party hosted by Lori Anderson of the Blog "Pretty Things".

This is my first "Bead Soup" and I was so excited I forgot to take pictures of the "Soup" I sent my partner Jeanne Steck.
Thankfully she DID!!
I borrowed this picture of what I sent her from her Blog "Gems by Jeanne Marie"
Also check out her Etsy Shop and Facebook,
This is the wonderful Soup she sent me
The beautiful Focal Bead she sent me  was made by Artist Jason Powers of Powers Art Studio on Etsy.

Jeanne also sent me beautiful 8mm River Stone, 6mm light blue Candy Jade, Bali Beads, and her own handmade Sterling Silver Ear Wires and Clasp.

I am thinking this will make a wonderful beaded bracelet and matching Earrings!!

So what do you think of my first attempt at Digital Graphics???
I would love for you to stop by Gail's Blog and Vote for me when you get a minute.
