The Purple Corner - My Gemstone Designs Purple Bracelet

Welcome everyone! 

It has been ages since I have done a "Purple Corner", so, when I saw this awe inspiring purple creation by Hazel of My Gemstone Designs, I had to show it off!!

This beauty is made with 12mm round purple and white swirl glass beads, 11mm antique silver flat round foliage beads, 3mm antique silver faceted rondelle beads, 4mm round amethyst gemstones and a sterling silver lobster clasp.

All that is missing is you!!!

The Purple Corner - 3 Times the Color!

 It has been brought to my attention I have not done a post for "The Purple Corner" in a while. All I can say is....ooops!!

To make up for missing so much time, I have chosen three gorgeous Purple lovelies to share with you today.

Merry Christmas with Purple Angels

My shopping is done, my gifts are wrapped, my legs are tired and I need a nap!!

I have dishes to wash, and goodies to bake, dinner to cook, and aspirin to take!

Purple Corner - Purple and Silver Christmas Tag

It has been a bit since I have done a post for "The Purple Corner". I made this lovely Sparkly tag to enter in 2 different challenges so I thought this post could do Triple Duty..lol

Over at the "Our Creative Corner" blog, this week's challenge is to make something Christmas using the colors Purple and Silver.

For The Zeus and Zoe "Sparkle and Shine" December Challenge we are to create a Christmas Project using at least 3 different elements that sparkle and shine.

We all know how much I love Purple so I decided I just had to participate!!

I used a jumbo Manilla Shipping Tag and inked it with "Dusty Concord" Distress Ink. 

I then used Modge Podge to layer different Glitters in Purple and Silver.

I used a silver glittered ornament  "Merry Christmas" as my sentiment. I got it from the Dollar Store for 50 cents!

For the flower I layered silver silk Poinsettias along with silver glittered holly leaves.

I used Purple Fun Fur at the top right in a shoe string bow with one of the glittered silver holly berries in the middle.

The Purple Corner - Crazy Quilt Heart

 I found this beautiful little heart on Pinterest. I tried to find the designer but I am afraid I did not have much luck. 

I can tell you the Heart originally came from the blog "Craft Gossip". I searched for a while again trying to find the original artist to no avail. Maybe you will have better luck.

For now, just enjoy this Gorgeous Heart and all the amazing detail work!!

Pat Winter of "Pat Winter Gatherings" is the amazing Artist who created this beautiful masterpiece. What I find ironic is her blog is one of my favorites!!! I feel like such an idiot!!

The Purple Corner - Bits and Purses

Unique Handbag Handmade

This unique handbag was created with layers of fabric containing recycled items between the layers. 

You will find candy wrappers, sequins, ribbons, shimmering threads, and other interesting bits. 

The inside of this beauty is lined with an absolutely Gorgeous purple iridescent taffeta. 

This handbag includes a metal frame with attached loops to accommodate the beautiful bevel design. The chain measures 24" inches long and comes in a beautiful nickel color. You can easily make this handbag a clutch by simply removing the chain.

Width at widest point: 11 inches
Depth across bottom panel: approx 2 1/2 inches
