Free Image and a Tag

Hello Blog Land!
A huge welcome to you and all my awesome new followers.

I hope everyone is having a great weekend.
The sun is shinning at the moment where I am.
I am so sick of rain, rain, rain...even though we need it, it is still depressing to see all the time.

I have been playing around with Photoshop Elements trying different blending modes and layers.
I still have no clue what I am doing...haha!
I am not very happy with the result of the above image. I find I either get it too dark or too light. (I will have to play with it some more).

You are welcome to use this image any way you wish. Just right click and save.
I think it needs a frame or boarder. What do you think?

The main background, little tag on the right, and the yellow butterflies are all free images from "Astrid's Artistic Efforts".

The Yellow Fairy is a purchased graphic from "Done 4 You Pages" on Etsy.

The purple hummingbird and roses are some I already had and do not know where they originated from....sorry.

I also added a script background image I have from the "Artful Photoshop" class I took.

For Tag Tuesday this week's theme was Complimentary Colors.
(Yes, I am so late in posting my tag....lol)

I chose purple...(no surprise there) and yellow.
Kind of hard to tell but I used distress inks in "Milled Lavender, and "Dusty Concord" on my tag itself. (You can purchase these and other distress inks at "The Funkie Junkie Boutique"

I also used a few Prima flowers, a dark purple rose applique and the purple flower in the little girl's hair from "Flights of Fancy".

I used Purple Fun Fur to boarder around the digital portion and added a purple and yellow sentiment "Each Moment is a Gift" by K&Company.

I finished it off with yellow seam binding and more purple fun fur all tied in a sloppy bow....(I am not the best bow maker....lol)

I used a free ATC Background image from "Astrid's Artistic Efforts" and then used Photoshop to blend the image of the little girl in purple. (I do not remember where that image came from).
Hope you like my tag and the above free image.
Thank you so much for dropping by.

Until Next Time, Happy Sales

  1. Least you can play, I wouldn't' even know where to start in the digital side... I think you have done so well for such little knowledge... beautiful elements you have created.
