Help Decorate My Space Give Away!!

After over a year I finally have a small space totally dedicated to my work!! I am tickled pink (well, Purple....lol), to  have somewhere, no matter how small, to put all my stuff I use for creating jewelry and other crafts.

You Gotta Love the Purple!!
My laptop now has a permanent home. Did I mention I have a purple laptop? I also have a cool purple mouse. Hard to see it in this picture though.

Anyway, I was thinking it would be fun to get everyone involved in helping me "Decorate" my tiny, tiny, Work Space.

As you can see in the pictures, I do not have a lot of room to work with. Storage is a huge nightmare!

It may be a tiny space, but it is MY tiny space!!!

Trying to see what I have is difficult since everything is kinda thrown in these plastic drawers
The Bookcase measures approximately 60" High, 36" Wide, and 11.5" Deep.
My table is an old round kitchen table (not a desk).

On the "Buffy" side of things, I only have 45" to work with. The storage is built in and the lid raises, so anything on the wall has to start at least 26" high. (That way the top can open up when we need to get inside the storage area).

On a side note, I made the "Buffy Collage" a billion years ago. Still one of my all time favorite TV Shows.

I am looking for inspirational ideas I can implement myself. All items need to be easily obtainable, and economical (cheap!!).

So, all you need to do is:
  • Follow my Blog (Pretty, Pretty, Pretty, Please)
  • In addition to written descriptions, please add a link to a picture(s) of your ideas. (Please don't forget to credit the Person, Blog, Pin Board, etc. you got the picture from. (This is also a cool way to help promote each other!!).
I LOVE my old Purple Ipod.
I will announce the Winner next Friday, June 8th, 2012
The Winner will receive a $15.00 Gift Certificate, valid at either my Etsy or Zibbet Shop.

I will also do a Blog Post on the awesome "Decorator" and their winning idea complete with all the pretty pictures.

If anyone has any questions, please just let me know. You can contact me through my Blog, Facebook, Etsy, or Zibbet.

Good Luck and Happy Decorating!!

  1. Ok I have a few ideas I have implemeted in my small work space as well. mason jars for all of those small trinkets and beads are the best, You can see through them and you can find some really cool vintage ones for cheap. Second thing is all of your ribbon. I took a small shelf with three openings and drilled holes in each end, ran a wood dowel through it and slid my ribbon on it. It looks great painted and I can see all of my ribbon at a glance. Hope this helps a little bit.

    1. I bought angled clear glass jars at the dollar store. They had lids, but you could place them side by side and they had a flat spot to angle the opening so you just reached in for your items. also I have a drawer unit, I put findings in these. No need to see, I just remove and place on table, and they’re stackable, so I can switch from brass to silver findings. Each drawer is filled with jumpring and clasps, some are just earwires, so forth. I have collapsible tables from home depot. they are sturdy as all hell. These I can shove against walls, in corners. Round tables don’t work so well unless its huge and theres a lazy susan in the middle and the table is for many. If you can switch out your table for an inexpensive square or rectangular, and you can put clamp on lamps to see your work too. my blog has photos of my studio room.
